How much is your time worth? Are you working on things in your business that equal the worth your time? Daniel Ramsey CEO and co-founder of MyOutDesk sits down for a conversation with Deb Krier of the Business Power Hour and talks about how to find out exactly what your time is worth and how to focus on the activities in your business that equal it.
There are elements of your business that are crucial, but either you do not like doing them, are not good at doing them or both. These are most likely the things that do not directly affect your business outcomes. Solopreneurs often find themselves wearing multiple hats in their business, taking on responsibilities that are not up to par with what their time is truly worth. If your level of expertise means that your time is worth $1000 an hour, you should not be burdened by responsibilities that are worth $50 an hour. This is the impasse that many business owners face eventually.
Delegating these responsibilities can seem daunting. There are many concerns such as “nobody else can do this as well as I can.” Or “I can’t afford to hire someone.” Or “finding good hires takes up too much time.” Daniel shares with Deb how MyOutDesk has come up to all these concerns through serving over 5000 clients (including 4 out of the top 5 REALTrends Top Teams!) in the past 11 years.
