Daniel Ramsey
Today’s topic is video mastery. But I’m curious, you had a question that we were going to kind of share with the audience before we get to.

00:00:14:12 – 00:00:33:19
Tony Giordano
And I’ll and I’ll ask the I’ll ask the question again in a couple of minutes. But for for right now, for those that are on. Hi. Good morning. Hope everybody is having a wonderful day. If you’re on the East Coast or somewhere else in the world, then good afternoon. You know, we’re going to be diving deep into video marketing today and mastering video.

00:00:33:19 – 00:01:10:14
Tony Giordano
And whatever you do for a living, whether you’re an insurance agent, you sell medical supplies, you’re a real estate agent, you’re a financial officer, whatever it might be that you do for a living. If you’re a salesperson on this call or a business owner, you need to be integrating video at a very high level. Anyone who owns a business, anybody who’s independent, whose job is based on going out and getting people to buy your service or product or come to your firm or come to your private practice, you are in sales.

00:01:11:15 – 00:01:32:07
Tony Giordano
If you’re in sales, you need to get in front of people. If you know the importance of getting in front of people, then you understand online media is the number one place to get in front of people. Social media. And once you’re in social media, you have to realize the number one way of getting in front of those people online is video.

00:01:32:15 – 00:01:58:11
Tony Giordano
So what I’d like to find out is if you could just jump in the chat if you’re on this call. Jump in the chat right now and rate yourself one through ten. On what level? You’ve integrated video in your business, whether you shoot videos for yourself like, Hi, my name is so-and-so, blah blah blah blah blah. Or You have videos that you’ve created for your product that you sell.

00:01:59:13 – 00:02:28:01
Tony Giordano
I want to hear from you one through ten, ten being you shoot video all the time. You shoot video for your product or service, promotional videos, videos of your clients, video, testimonial videos, one through ten, ten being outstanding. You’re crushing it at ten or one is what’s video? So rate yourself one through ten. On what level? You’ve integrated video in your business now because we’re going to get back to that.

00:02:28:01 – 00:02:37:14
Tony Giordano
But please be transparent. Be willing to share. Don’t be shy. Hey, I’m a three. I’m a one. Or if you’re confident, I’m a ten.

00:02:38:12 – 00:03:00:17
Daniel Ramsey
Yeah, I love it, you know? Okay. So the three things that we’re going to cover today, which I love, is basically how to set more appointments with tried and true one on one videos, which I love, create videos on any budget because frankly, you could be a brand new entrepreneur only making $200,000 a year or $20 million company driving lots of revenue in.

00:03:00:18 – 00:03:06:18
Daniel Ramsey
But the reality is we wanted to have a budget neutral, how to make videos or.

00:03:06:18 – 00:03:13:24
Tony Giordano
$80,000 a year. Yeah, yeah. Or $50,000 a year. Video can be free.

00:03:15:00 – 00:03:35:19
Daniel Ramsey
There you go. And then the last is taking baby steps to get results right now to have a return on investment, because my intention is to always give people the real gold. So they can grow revenue, hire a virtual assistant and grow their business. Right. I’m always going to throw that in there, but it looks like we’re going to get good results.

00:03:36:14 – 00:04:02:20
Daniel Ramsey
Lenny, what’s up, man? Lenny LaRocca is here in the house. I owe him a call and an email, buddy. I owe you a call. I’m still I’m going to get to you. I promise. Keep keep doing the scores, because what we’re going to do is we’re going to add them up. And then before we launch into the thing, we’re going to have a score at the beginning and then at the end we’ll ask you, okay, now, do you feel like you have the tools and the things that you need in order to actually succeed?

00:04:02:20 – 00:04:23:21
Daniel Ramsey
So we’ll have a beginning and end the score and we’ll share that score with everybody. So we really, really let let’s let’s do a little quick story about who you are, Tony, before we get going, because not everybody here, whether you’re live watching on Facebook or you see us in a replay on YouTube or or your live here with us right now, not everybody knows who you are.

00:04:24:00 – 00:04:28:17
Daniel Ramsey
So let’s let’s make you stop. There’s a lucky few.

00:04:28:17 – 00:04:31:02
Tony Giordano
Everyone knows who I am. Come on.

00:04:31:09 – 00:04:59:12
Daniel Ramsey
Let’s don’t go ahead and brag. My favorite story is that you’ve you’ve driven revenue from being on TV and you nurtured relationship a relationship with a reporter. I know you shared that with me maybe a couple of months ago. My that’s one of my favorite stories. But don’t be afraid to tell the audience who you are. Why? Why you’ve gotten good at this and what it’s done for your business personally so that people have some context for the conversation.

00:05:00:05 – 00:05:28:05
Tony Giordano
Yeah, definitely. And thank you for having me. You know, obviously, I love my app desk. I’m a big supporter of of emoji and what you guys provide and the resources you provide. So I really appreciate you wanting me to give your client base any value that I can bring to the table for those that don’t know who I am, because Tony Robbins steals my name and he, you know, I’m constantly in his shadow, you know, because he’s the most famous Tony and I’m in second place.

00:05:29:19 – 00:06:06:16
Tony Giordano
So I got in my business, my industry, which was real estate in 1998, December of 98, door to door sales guy. That’s all I was. I was just a door to door sales guy selling cell phones for AT&T. And I walked into a mortgage company to sell my cell phone. And the branch manager, after I sold her a cell phone, offered me a job to be a loan broker, a loan officer for mortgages 20 years old, December of 98, didn’t know anything about business, didn’t go to college, and within nine months, it completely changed my life.

00:06:06:16 – 00:06:30:08
Tony Giordano
This industry changed my life, you know, the real estate industry in general. And but remember a great salesperson, which this call isn’t about today. We’re not getting into my, you know, the coaching that I do for language of sales or or things like that. However, it doesn’t matter what product we sell. I could I could stop selling houses and sell cars.

00:06:30:08 – 00:06:52:02
Tony Giordano
I could sell insurance, I could sell lollipops. It’s it’s are you a salesperson driven to go out and build your business, whatever you do for a living? So in nine months, this business changed my life. It changed my family’s life. And I didn’t come from money. I didn’t come from wealth and income, from business savvy parents. Dad’s a landscaper, mom’s a bookkeeper.

00:06:52:17 – 00:07:21:18
Tony Giordano
And I really just kind of changed the course of my family. And by the age of 26, in 2004, I had made my first million in a 12 month period as a loan officer. Nice. Three years later, I now own my own mortgage company. I have every toy you could possibly think of. I have 19 houses. I have 100 staff.

00:07:22:07 – 00:07:50:05
Tony Giordano
I have cars, fine art, fine watches, you name it. I had it. Life is amazing and I lose everything in less than 18 months in the 2829 economic crash and housing crisis. Yep. And the Great Recession, as they call it. And when I tell you I lost everything, ladies and gentlemen, I lost everything. I went from an 812 FICO score to 496.

00:07:50:21 – 00:08:22:03
Tony Giordano
I had 16 foreclosures on my credit. In less than 12 months, I had to lay off 100 people face to face. All of my cars, boats, everything was repossessed. I went through a massive divorce. Youngest son is diagnosed with autism. Everything was gone literally overnight. And as I tried to dig through that crash in oh eight and oh nine, I kept losing my passion for lending.

00:08:22:11 – 00:08:56:17
Tony Giordano
I wasn’t I wasn’t loving mortgage anymore. Plus, you couldn’t even get anybody a mortgage during that. So finally, octo labor of oh nine, I decided to switch from lender to realtor. So instead of financing the house, I decided to switch to selling the house. And we’re not getting into the the other things that I teach today, but I implemented some things online that will touch on a little bit, but not in depth, but some stuff in social media, some stuff with my website.

00:08:57:05 – 00:09:23:01
Tony Giordano
But still, 99% of people aren’t doing correctly. And I was doing it October of oh nine and I completely exploded Rookie of the Year as a real estate agent. I was getting leads in business from Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube. I was shooting video when no one was shooting video in 2010 for four listings of mine for me, who I am as an agent and the rest is history.

00:09:23:01 – 00:09:52:17
Tony Giordano
Ladies and gentlemen, within 12 months, Rookie of the Year, I rebuilt everything I lost. Within two years, I started writing my books. The books became bestsellers. I became a national speaker. And when people ask me, which is often how did you rebuild everything you lost? And and then like you were only down for like two years. There’s people still down from that 0809 crash, right?

00:09:52:22 – 00:10:25:21
Tony Giordano
I always say two words. I’m online and I know how to market myself online in marketing, whether you pay for marketing, bus benches, billboards, newspapers, magazines, social media, marketing video, whether you pay to run an ad or don’t forget what marketing means. It’s not just the paid. It’s do you even market yourself as a respectable business person in your local community?

00:10:26:15 – 00:10:48:02
Tony Giordano
Got it. What are you doing every day to remind people in your town you exist offline? The shaking of the hands, the kissing babies, the taking photos, the testimonials, the reviews, whatever it might be. What are you doing in your marketplace? Giving back to the community. So marketing is not just paid marketing, it’s what are we doing to market ourself?

00:10:48:14 – 00:11:13:23
Tony Giordano
And I know how to do that for me. And so I coach people on how to do it for them and where is the best place to do it online? Name one multi-billion dollar brand today that doesn’t put those two things first, right? Name one. There’s not one. All of them are online. Every multibillion dollar company you can think of, and they know how to market their brand for themselves.

00:11:14:16 – 00:11:36:00
Tony Giordano
Right? So my passion has always been coaching and teaching people. So yes, I love sales, but I just love the negotiation aspect. My real passion is doing things like this. I want to get back as much as I can. I want to help people grow their business no matter what they do for a living. And that’s kind of my quick little story.

00:11:36:09 – 00:11:56:13
Tony Giordano
And in all honesty, of of rising, losing everything and rising again and making sure I try to teach people to help them prevent the fall. You know, that’s what I’m trying to do. And anyways, we all have to fall, but I’m trying to help them not fall as hard. You know, if it’s going to happen.

00:11:56:23 – 00:12:12:01
Daniel Ramsey
It’s a big deal and let’s talk a little bit before we launch in to about your book because you wrote the Social Agent 2.0, and that’s been a big cornerstone to what you teach and Coach. What inspired you to write that book and who is it written for?

00:12:13:04 – 00:12:36:22
Tony Giordano
Honestly, that so the social agent came out in 2012. Yep. And a lot of people thought like, I would go to speaking events and they’d be like, you know, Oh, the social agents here. No, no, no, I’m not the social agent. I’m a social agent. The book is to teach you to also be a social agent. No one gets to claim the title.

00:12:36:22 – 00:13:01:03
Tony Giordano
It’s all of us should be one. Whether you’re the social insurance agent, the social real estate agent. The social loan agent. That’s the social dentist. The social mechanic, the social president of a VA company. Whatever you do, you should be social. And that the key word of social media being online and then it really kind of took off.

00:13:01:03 – 00:13:25:03
Tony Giordano
And then I wrote the latest one, which is the social agent 2.0, which is on Amazon. And that one just goes into a much more advanced, more in-depth action, you know, actually how to create the strategies and execute all these different techniques that I do on all the different networks. So yeah, my book is for anybody who is in sales or owns a business, you know.

00:13:25:05 – 00:13:47:17
Daniel Ramsey
Who love it. We’re going to grab that link for the Amazon and just throw it in the notes. So everybody who’s interested, they can grab a copy. And but Tony, let’s let’s dove in. You’ve got your you’ve got your work cut out for you. We’ve got almost 100 people watching us live right now. And the average score is 4.2.

00:13:47:23 – 00:14:03:14
Daniel Ramsey
So who knows nothing? How do you shoot a video to. I use them every day for me and my brand and my products. So you’ve got a 4.2. But let’s let’s dove into your company, your your strategies and learning. Yes.

00:14:04:02 – 00:14:30:17
Tony Giordano
All right. I love it. So and if you calm down as people join who maybe didn’t hear our little, you know, rate yourself, maybe just go in the chat and say, hey, as you can see, we’ve been having everybody rate themself on what level of video that they’ve integrated in their business. And a lot of the times I see coaching clients of mine, they’ll give themself a five, and when I show them what level they can take it to, they realize, Oh, I’m a one.

00:14:31:06 – 00:14:56:07
Tony Giordano
Yeah, you know, I thought I was a five, but I’m not even halfway there on the level. You can integrate video. Just think about it this way. Ladies and gentlemen, everything in your life and business should be video from self-expression in your personal life to what you do for a living. In other words, no photos of your children posting on Facebook and Instagram.

00:14:56:23 – 00:15:18:18
Tony Giordano
Video of your child posting to Facebook and Instagram. No. No. Taking a picture at the soccer game. No video of the soccer game because that’s where more people are going to see. Video is number one when it comes to the news feed and what is prioritized from these networks. So let’s jump in before we jump on.

00:15:19:06 – 00:15:39:08
Daniel Ramsey
Hold on. Yeah. I want to make sure the audience knows this is meant to be interactive and your questions are monitored. So everything about what Tony is going to share today ought to be a conversation. So if you have a question, I’m going to I’m going to stay in the chat and stay in the question and answers, and we’ll jump in.

00:15:39:15 – 00:15:45:13
Daniel Ramsey
But everything about this conversation should be interactive. So go ahead, Tony. I just want to point that out. So I.

00:15:45:15 – 00:16:03:09
Tony Giordano
I love it. Yeah, definitely. Okay. So real quick, if you want to follow me just to stay connected with me, I’m just going to give you one of my places you can go on Instagram and search. Tony underscored the Donald right there at the top of your screen. That’s my personal Instagram just to stay in touch with me.

00:16:03:09 – 00:16:21:11
Tony Giordano
If you send messages or or you want to see how I do it, there’s a perfect way to to see follow the person who teaches it. And you might get some good ideas and some little tips and tricks. So, yeah, feel free to follow me. It’s I’m not telling you to follow me because I’m like, Oh, follow me.

00:16:21:11 – 00:16:44:10
Tony Giordano
I’m being arrogant. I tell people to follow me because I lead by example and you might get some good ideas. So before I get into the slide, I’m going to do a big giveaway today. Now I want everybody to make this note right now in your head. You have to be on this call at the end in order to win this giveaway that I’m going to do today.

00:16:44:22 – 00:17:17:02
Tony Giordano
What is the giveaway? I have a company called Rise Coaching. This is what the giveaway is going to be. Rising stands for relevant, innovative skill enhancement. I’m very passionate about the word skill enhancement because I can’t stand the word coaching in the sense because I think it’s overplayed. What are your coaches, what are mentors? What are teachers instructors doing to enhance your skill set today, both natural skill set and things that maybe get you out of your comfort zone.

00:17:17:23 – 00:17:36:04
Tony Giordano
But coaching for baby sitting in like how many calls did you make this week? Okay, how are we going to overcome that hurdle next week and get to your hundred? Like, that’s not the level of coaching I do. I try to enhance people’s skill sets and teach them modern day techniques so it stands for relevant, innovative skill enhancement.

00:17:36:04 – 00:18:14:04
Tony Giordano
Now I have one on one coaching, ladies and gentlemen, where it’s just you and me on the call that you can, you know, hire me to do. That is not what I’m giving away today. So just make sure we all know Tony’s not giving a one on one coaching slot away today. What I’m giving away is I also have a group program where you’re it’s it’s a massive amount of people who are in a group, people from all industries are in my coaching program, business owners.

00:18:14:13 – 00:18:57:00
Tony Giordano
I have a huge variety of topics that you’ll learn, that you’ll learn whoever wins this at the end of the call, what you’re going to win, just so you know, is this biweekly coaching call, exclusive mastermind group, invaluable resources from me directly. So you’ll get access to my private group where you can ask me questions any time you will have a bi weekly coaching training call with me live like this webinar right now every two weeks, okay, you will have access to action plans, system scripts that program, just so you all know, is normally 23, 88 a year, 199 a month.

00:18:57:15 – 00:19:17:21
Tony Giordano
And whoever is on the call when I do this giveaway at the end and I tell you what to do in order to win and we’re going to name the winner at the end, you will actually get a one year membership valued at 2400 into my group program. All right. Make sure you take notes today. Okay. Here we go.

00:19:18:00 – 00:20:01:07
Tony Giordano
The video revolution. The video revolution. What is happening in the world of video? Facebook just last year announced Mark Zuckerberg that by 2023, he plans for Facebook to be 100% video, meaning you will not be able to go on Facebook and write your long sob story paragraph of what happened to you last night and hit share and expect anyone to see it and even if he allows you to still write something in Facebook and hit share, even if that’s still an ability that we can do in 2023, no one will see it.

00:20:01:07 – 00:20:26:12
Tony Giordano
It’ll be so far down in the newsfeed that no one will see. And we’re already seeing this, by the way, less and less people are are engaging your posts because video live streaming stories uploading video they take priority of all news feeds of all the networks, not just Facebook. So everything is becoming video. And I don’t want you to think so.

00:20:26:16 – 00:20:49:20
Tony Giordano
Just a few years ago, video had to be nice. It had to be professionally shot. Yeah. So if you sell lollipops, you had to shoot a professional video of your lollipops, right? If you provide a service, you had to stand in front of a green screen with animations and and have a video professional company actually edit it for you and add music.

00:20:50:10 – 00:21:17:19
Tony Giordano
Yeah. See, but now video doesn’t have to be glorified. It doesn’t have to be beautiful. Video is the way we have to express ourself today. It’s the number one way for self-expression. That’s what I want you all to think about today. Don’t think it has to be pretty. It just has to be recording, that’s all. And I’m going to teach you some tips on what will help you build your business.

00:21:17:19 – 00:21:49:03
Tony Giordano
And brand. All right. Critical video marketing stats. Everyone should know. Over 85% of marketers agree that video has taken over media. Well, Tony, that’s great. I’m not a marketer. I’m a sales person. I sell insurance or I sell I own my own dentist practice. I I’m a dentist, not a marketer. Oh, no. You actually chose a career in marketing and advertising when you chose a career to be self-employed.

00:21:49:17 – 00:22:19:12
Tony Giordano
Yeah. Who else is marketing you? That’s right. So your career in marketing and advertising comes first so that people actually know you’re a dentist and come to your dentist practice and now you can provide your service. That being said, if you’re the marketer of your own business, then you have to do what marketing agencies do. Those agencies you hire to do marketing, advertising for you, whatever they do for people, that’s what you have to do for yourself.

00:22:20:07 – 00:22:53:19
Tony Giordano
So you should follow them. So if marketing agencies, 85% of them agree that video has taken over media, listen, 90% of those marketing agencies see significant R or Y with their video marketing. 60% of people on social media engage with a brand’s video. Money spent on video marketing has gone up over 150% in the last 36 months and is a multi, multi billion.

00:22:54:09 – 00:23:28:21
Tony Giordano
I’m not going to say 100 billion because it sounds outrageous. Multi, multibillion dollar industry of video marketing for brands today. Over three quarters of online consumers today prefer video content over text content before a purchase. So right to me, how amazing. Let’s just say you sell lollipops and I’m in the news feed on social media. And I see a paragraph that you wrote about how great your lollipop is.

00:23:29:19 – 00:24:06:21
Tony Giordano
I’m like, But if I see a video start to play and somebody really enjoying that lollipop and they’re telling me and the camera best lollipop I’ve ever had, I kind of want to buy that lollipop. Right? Watching videos makes up for over 80% of mobile activity today. One more time, watching videos on your device makes up for over 80% of all mobile activity today.

00:24:07:06 – 00:24:32:21
Tony Giordano
Meaning if you walk to Starbucks right now and you see 20 people standing in line and they all have their head down, they’re not playing. We all know that right there on their phone. Right. Just understand that 19 of those 20 people are I’m sorry, wrong. Just know that about 16 of the 20 people are watching a video.

00:24:33:12 – 00:24:33:24
Tony Giordano
You’re making.

00:24:33:24 – 00:24:37:17
Daniel Ramsey
Too quick. You’re making me do quick math. I’m like, what is 80% of 20?

00:24:38:07 – 00:25:03:18
Tony Giordano
That’s what it means. That’s what that means. For every ten people you see on their phone, eight of them are watching a video. Sure. On average, why is video marketing so important and effective for what you do for a living? The brain retains visual more than text scientific fact. Hmm. That’s why I get so frustrated when I hear people today say, Oh, kids, all they care about is their technology.

00:25:03:18 – 00:25:49:03
Tony Giordano
They’re just that’s because they have it. If you were five years old 40 years ago, would you have loved the iPad? Yeah. My autistic son is building worlds inside his iPad. Literal worlds. He knows how to write code. He can develop a game. His brain is going a thousand times interactive a second. Compared to me when I was his age, playing with my Tonka truck in the mud, in the backyard, looking at the tree, blowing the wind.

00:25:50:02 – 00:25:52:13
Tony Giordano
It’s not a whole lot going on up there at that moment.

00:25:53:04 – 00:25:53:13
Daniel Ramsey
Right.

00:25:54:06 – 00:26:15:03
Tony Giordano
I also think it’s in moderation. Yes, of course. I still want them to go out and play and they do. But they grew up with tech. And by the way, that’s why I. I want them to learn everything there is to know about tech, why? Because that technology is going to be keeping me alive in about 40 years and they’re going to be taking care of me.

00:26:15:12 – 00:26:36:14
Tony Giordano
And I kind of want them to know what they’re doing. So the brain retains visual more than text. That’s why I get frustrated because people are like, Oh, nobody reads a book anymore. They just want to listen to the audio because it’s available, right? It’s like, you know, don’t take offense to this, but I’m trying to I always try to compare it to weird things.

00:26:36:14 – 00:26:57:08
Tony Giordano
It’s just who I am as a person. It’s like there’s nothing wrong as a female today, as a woman who’s who’s going to give birth. There’s nothing wrong with saying I want to go natural versus I’m going to take an epidural so I don’t feel the pain. There’s nothing wrong with that. Choose it’s up to you, right? I hear people like, oh, you know what people take up?

00:26:57:13 – 00:27:13:19
Tony Giordano
They’re so lazy, like, you should feel it. Like I’m going to do it. What? What they did a hundred years ago. Yeah. Go back 100 years ago and tell all the women in the hospital that there’s something that makes all the pain go away. But you chose to just do it their way, right? It’s just because it didn’t exist.

00:27:13:19 – 00:27:40:02
Tony Giordano
So video didn’t exist for older generations, which is why they bash it. Oh, just read increases reach and brand awareness creates legitimacy. Makes you an authority figure of what you do for a living. Example. Watch this. Hi. My name is Tony. I’m a real estate agent. Let me know if you ever have any questions regarding selling or buying a home.

00:27:41:07 – 00:28:04:02
Tony Giordano
Now watch and tell me which one looked more important or. Well, to answer your question. My name is Tony Giordano. I’m a real estate agent. And if you ever have any questions about buying or selling a home, I’m always here. See, I didn’t even look at the camera. I looked away. Which now raises my legitimacy. Like I’m being interviewed and oh, he’s important.

00:28:04:02 – 00:28:30:10
Tony Giordano
Somebody is there talking to somebody, asking him questions. Hmm. Generates action and engagement video does preferred form of self-expression and viewing meaning it’s the preferred way people want to express themselves, even if they’re camera shy. What we’re saying is they would prefer to do video even though they’re not. So you might be camera shy and you don’t do video, but you’d prefer to do video.

00:28:31:02 – 00:28:53:03
Tony Giordano
You’d be like, Oh my goodness, I’d love to not be camera shy. So it is the preferred way we wish we could express ourselves. Sure. And it’s the preferred way people would rather just watch something instead of read something. The video revolution. So what I’m going to do right now is I’m going to exit out of here and I’m just going to share a video with all of you.

00:28:53:17 – 00:29:17:06
Tony Giordano
Enjoy. Ladies and gentlemen, the peer to.

00:29:17:06 – 00:30:59:21
Speaker 3
Peer to peer. Peer, peer to peer. Peer to peer. Peer to peer to peer.

00:31:00:15 – 00:31:03:12
Tony Giordano
So incredible stats. Yes, sir. Yes.

00:31:04:04 – 00:31:12:11
Daniel Ramsey
Yeah. Actually, can you put that in the chat? Put that video and. Yeah, I think it’s important to share with the audience what I can.

00:31:12:15 – 00:31:14:18
Tony Giordano
I can. I will. Yes.

00:31:15:10 – 00:31:27:02
Daniel Ramsey
Yeah. I think it’s a good. I actually learned a bunch there. I’m like just the one in three marriages last longer. And I mean, I think that’s a great stat.

00:31:27:06 – 00:31:46:24
Tony Giordano
So many stats in that video. And here’s just so everybody knows on this call. I don’t care what you do for a living, but if your job is to go out and get people to embrace what you do and by what you do, I send as a real estate agent, I send that video to every single client who I met.

00:31:46:24 – 00:32:12:12
Tony Giordano
I’m getting ready to list their house. I send them that before I even do the interview and say, I look forward to showing you how I execute this modern day world of technology and I know how to get your property in front of all of these. Everyone’s got it today and they’re blown away by this video. It’s almost like this video got me the listing on its own, and I didn’t really even have to say anything after they watched it.

00:32:12:12 – 00:32:18:01
Tony Giordano
As long as I told them, Here’s what we’re going to do. And in this world. Yep.

00:32:18:12 – 00:32:20:20
Daniel Ramsey
Hey, Bill. All right. Question and I apologize.

00:32:20:20 – 00:32:45:17
Tony Giordano
That we got to do we got to do Q&A. Sorry, but we got to do Q&A at the end. Okay. Just just so we have enough time. Okay. So getting back on on the topic of that, what those stats you just saw and you can please go into the chat and share what stats blew you away, like, oh my goodness, I have no idea about this and that stat.

00:32:45:17 – 00:33:13:13
Tony Giordano
I’d love to hear from you, but the first time I ever shot a video, the first time I ever did a video where it was to help me grow as a business person, not personal videos, a business video. When I became a real estate agent, I was collecting properties with big agents in L.A. and I started going on the TV show Million Dollar listing with Madison and Josh and all those guys that you might see of you.

00:33:13:13 – 00:33:36:09
Tony Giordano
If you’ve ever watched that TV show on Bravo TV. And I remember Madison in 2010 telling me, you got to do a video of like who you are as an agent. And I go, Oh, like the one they play for you at the beginning of every episode, like, Hi, my name’s Madison. It shows you on the boat and shows you driving a Ferrari and like all that stuff and who you are and giving back to the Children’s Hospital, all that stuff.

00:33:36:09 – 00:33:55:02
Tony Giordano
It’s just you’re who you are as a person. He goes, Yeah. And I said, Awesome. Do you think the show will will shoot one for me like they did you? Because no, you’re not a star of the show. You’re a guest on the show, Tony. So that means you’ve got to go and hire a crew to shoot your promotional video of who you are as an agent.

00:33:55:02 – 00:34:18:24
Tony Giordano
Now, this was the first video I ever shot, and I’ve shot a thousand videos since then. But I’m going to show you the first one I did in 2010, when no one was shooting video as a real estate agent. This was my first video. Now don’t laugh at the opening, okay? Please. It’s a little cheesy, but it was 2010.

00:34:19:08 – 00:34:53:17
Tony Giordano
So just if you can ignore the beginning, then just watch the video. So please don’t go. Oh, brother. Okay. Can we all agree? All right, good. Hi. My name is Tony Giordano. I’m here in beautiful Santa monica, California, atop the penthouse deck of one of my listings. And as you can see, I love my job. I enjoy staying active physically and mentally and feel health plays a big role in this industry.

00:34:54:01 – 00:34:55:20
Tony Giordano
I love meeting new people and being.

00:34:55:20 – 00:35:00:17
Daniel Ramsey
Welcomed into my clients homes and becoming their friends. One of the biggest changes.

00:35:00:17 – 00:35:08:07
Tony Giordano
In real estate in recent years is how the Internet and social media have had a massive impact on moving property. I too am.

00:35:08:07 – 00:35:10:19
Daniel Ramsey
Constantly not just marketing my clients home.

00:35:11:01 – 00:35:13:20
Tony Giordano
But networking them globally in this new revolution.

00:35:14:19 – 00:35:16:09
Daniel Ramsey
Thank you for watching my video.

00:35:16:09 – 00:35:44:06
Tony Giordano
I hope you enjoyed it. I look forward to meeting you in person until again. Now that’s 51 seconds, not 3 minutes. Only talking about myself, 60 seconds or less. Ladies and gentlemen, there is no need for a video any longer than that unless it’s an educational video where you’re teaching something like this today. But a promotional video or a promo video of your product or you and your service.

00:35:44:14 – 00:36:01:00
Tony Giordano
60 seconds or less. You don’t you don’t need longer than that. Now, this was the company I used to be with. I’m no longer with them, but this video is still on YouTube. So it shows my old email address that is not my email address. Don’t even bother trying to email it because it’ll bounce back unless there’s another Tony Giordano that works for Caldwell.

00:36:02:06 – 00:37:19:16
Tony Giordano
So now what we have today is you can see that it’s it’s elevated quite a bit from that video that I did to newer videos. There’s so many different levels of videos. In other words, ladies and gentlemen, have fun with it, enjoy it. Hire a crew. You can go for free and you can hire for production based video.

00:37:19:24 – 00:37:42:18
Tony Giordano
But we have to do all levels of video. These that I just showed you were considered production based video. The reason showed you these videos is because I want you to understand, when I shot that first video, this one, when I shot that first one of who I was as an agent, I honestly thought it was a self pat on the back, like, Oh, look at me, I’m special.

00:37:43:03 – 00:38:12:20
Tony Giordano
And I really didn’t see any value in it. I just thought it was like, Hey, check me out. The aura y of my business shot through the roof when people watched that video. Why? Because one of the oldest tricks and sales is subconscious connection. When you connect subconsciously to the person you’re talking to about what you do for a living, they will embrace and choose you over your competition.

00:38:13:01 – 00:38:46:06
Tony Giordano
And they won’t even know why. But it’s because subconscious is making them do it. Example if I say, Oh, I see what you mean, but in my interview you keep saying, Oh, I feel you tell me I’m going to mirror you and I’m going to start saying when you say something, oh, I see what you mean. And that you won’t know what’s going on, but your subconscious is connecting to mind because we’re like, well, when the subconscious has invested time watching something, it now wants to make up that time.

00:38:46:23 – 00:39:05:24
Tony Giordano
So example, you’ve been passing a billboard for the last ten years on the freeway of a guy holding a big house that says When you’re ready to buy a home every day, you pass this guy and the subconscious is connecting with it, sees it, and now it’s you finally get a promotion and you want to buy a house.

00:39:05:24 – 00:39:25:21
Tony Giordano
And who’s the first person you think of? Sure. That guy because. Well, I can looking at his ugly mug for ten years and now I want him to go show me 25 properties on Saturday and waste his entire afternoon so I can get that time of mine back. So when people watch the video, it was a connection to me.

00:39:26:14 – 00:39:47:22
Tony Giordano
And so what I started doing is when people said, Hey, Tony, I gave your card to my neighbor who said they’re going to sell their house soon. I would say, thank you. Look forward to their call. Can you do me a favor? Can you text them this link? And it was this video on YouTube link. Can you take some of this video and say, by the way, this is the guy we’re referring you to?

00:39:48:15 – 00:40:10:18
Tony Giordano
And they were like, Yeah, I love your video. Text it to them right now. And now that person watched even the first 10 seconds, I got the call. I was no longer just a business card that they lost or stuck in a drawer. Right. So video is extremely powerful. And I had no idea. I thought I was just doing it to like, you know, promote myself as check me out.

00:40:11:10 – 00:40:43:15
Tony Giordano
Right, right. Want to see the numbers for yourself on the power video? Top social networking apps buy downloads worldwide in 2018. Facebook will always be number one in downloads. Tik Tok is the up and coming new on Instagram, Snapchat. I mean, you can see them all and all of these, the top ones are all high level video. Which social media channels are most important for influencer marketing?

00:40:43:15 – 00:41:16:02
Tony Giordano
Instagram number one Marketing agencies who hire influencers look to Instagram to be their biggest source of driving traffic. All in the numbers. Percent of marketers sharing video content broken down by platform, almost 90% of marketing agencies use YouTube, followed by Facebook webinars. Instagram video, Twitter video, LinkedIn Video. Facebook Life 80% of global Internet traffic will be attributed to video by 2020.

00:41:16:02 – 00:41:53:13
Tony Giordano
It happened in 2019. 90% of content shared by users on senescence video, 87% of marketers use video in their campaigns, and 95% of message messaging be retained by viewers, while only 10% with text. United States Social Video Ad Revenue Growth by platform e look at that. Look at those numbers. Obviously, Facebook. Facebook owns Instagram. So Facebook has the majority of the market share followed by YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat.

00:41:54:00 – 00:42:24:12
Tony Giordano
And a lot of people don’t even realize the power of Twitter. Three Key video marketing facts that through video isn’t just a trend in content marketing. More videos are uploaded every 30 days than the major television networks have created in 30 years. One more time, more videos are uploaded online every 30 days than the combined major television networks have created in 30 years.

00:42:24:12 – 00:42:45:24
Tony Giordano
People watch on average one and a half hours of video every day. By 2020, over 80% of consumer Internet traffic will be video. And we already went over that. It happened a year ago in early 2019. The social agent 2.0 in my book that Dan was telling you all about has a chapter dedicated to the power of video.

00:42:46:10 – 00:43:21:00
Tony Giordano
And in that chapter on video, I go into the difference of blogging versus blogging. Blogging is writing a WordPress blog and is being crushed by instead of typing your blog, you hit record and you spoke what you wrote back in the day. And when you uploaded that vlog to YouTube, YouTube titled that video the exact way you used to title your WordPress blog.

00:43:21:00 – 00:43:50:01
Tony Giordano
Vlogging is the new way to blog and they call it Vlog. On the back of my book is a former actress from soap operas of like General Hospital Another World. She’s been on Two and a Half Man, CSI Miami, Rachael Ray, Oprah. She’s the host and she’s a coach. She is. Who wrote a segment of that chapter. And what she wrote was How to be Better front of the camera.

00:43:50:13 – 00:44:16:20
Tony Giordano
See, today is why you need to start integrating video. It’s not what you should start doing. It’s not how you should do it. Because I’d be talking to you for the next 16 days. The curriculum I have of coaching people on how to do video would last 16 days, 8 hours a day. I can’t do that today. It’s just to show you the power and give you some some nice takeaways to start feeling more comfortable to do.

00:44:17:03 – 00:44:35:04
Tony Giordano
But in this chapter, she actually goes into being more confident and helping you and she gives you tips. And then I even give you tips on different things you can do to just be better hide the fear, get rid of your camera shyness, learn how to focus on who you’re talking to instead of thinking you’re talking to an audience.

00:44:35:04 – 00:45:00:21
Tony Giordano
Remember, the audience isn’t watching you. If you upload a video to Facebook and you have 2000 friends, you’re not talking to those 2000 people. You’re only talking to the person who’s watching it in their living room. They don’t care about your 2000 friends. Are you connecting with each viewer? So example, if I go online right now or what’s more powerful to you right now?

00:45:01:12 – 00:45:18:20
Tony Giordano
Hi, everyone. Thanks for having me. Dan, I appreciate being on the call and I look forward to meeting you all one day. Or thank you, Dan, for having me on the call and nice to meet you. I look forward to meeting you one day as well, and thank you for being on my call today. So let’s go into it.

00:45:19:21 – 00:45:40:11
Tony Giordano
Right, see all of these different tips that will help you. And it goes into a bunch of different things. It goes into equipment that all of you should have basic equipment at your house or in your office. I actually have three sets of these. I have one that I can carry to anywhere I go, a ring light stand.

00:45:40:17 – 00:46:07:08
Tony Giordano
Obviously, there’s a ring light on me right now. Tripod, the one you’re looking at actually on the screen, 100 bucks full on ring, light stand and setup and it’s mobile. So I bought three so I can have one at my home office, my real office and on the go, because it’s going to help you feel more confident in your video, because we all know we look better when the light shining at us instead of on top of us.

00:46:07:08 – 00:46:35:05
Tony Giordano
A lot of people are camera shy. They just don’t know. They don’t like how they look on camera because the light’s always shining down. If you’re doing natural light and you’re doing videos out side, you should only shoot videos outside in the early morning from about eight in the morning to ten in the morning or in the late afternoon when the sun is coming back down because you want the light facing you once noon hits do not shoot video outside.

00:46:35:16 – 00:46:56:17
Tony Giordano
It’s you’re done like it’s too late now because you’re not going to like how the video comes out. So it’s important to know the right equipment you should have. And this is on Amazon in the Big Six video marketing networks. So these are the big networks that are going to help build your brand with using video hands down over any of them.

00:46:56:17 – 00:47:27:21
Tony Giordano
And obviously there’s all of them. So you’re like, well, get over anything else. Sure. But what we have here is are you doing video on all of these platforms, right? Are you uploading video on LinkedIn? Are you doing live streaming on LinkedIn and YouTube? Livestreaming is on LinkedIn or YouTube? Yeah, they both have livestreaming. Are you livestreaming on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat?

00:47:27:21 – 00:48:01:16
Tony Giordano
You also have the newest networks that are rising up in the game. Right. What are what are some of these other networks that we hear about? I see some people chatting right now. Tick tock. Tick tock is the new up and coming monster. This network will probably surpass Snapchat very, very soon in the sense of overall activity. It’s already passed them in the sense of how active people are downloading it, but now it’s becoming even more just in general, the engagement happening inside it.

00:48:02:14 – 00:48:32:12
Tony Giordano
Tick Tock is going to help your business grow, but you don’t have to focus on it right now if you have time to go for it. But I don’t want you focusing too much time in Snapchat and Tik Tok when it comes to building your business because there’s still both really just fun social video platforms and Tik Tok is also the first one to really mix in music and that’s its niche is music and video, but it’s going to happen.

00:48:32:16 – 00:48:51:03
Tony Giordano
And so if you have the time, definitely start learning it and I coach people and teach them how to do. Tik talk at a higher level. When you are online and you’re shooting videos, if you are one of the people who rated yourself high today, oh, I do videos for my business all the time. I want you to ask yourself this question.

00:48:52:00 – 00:49:19:22
Tony Giordano
If I was a friend of yours online, would I think that you’re always social selling me? When you go on and talk about your business, do you feel like you’re selling yourself or when you go online, do you social tell? See what happened there? Do you social sell or you do social tell your story? You want to tell your story.

00:49:19:22 – 00:49:44:08
Tony Giordano
You want to come from passion. You want to tell people why you wake up every morning and do what you do for a living. People don’t buy what you do. They buy why you do it. One of the greatest, greatest phrases still to this day I’ve ever heard. Simon Sinek, amazing speaker and mentor Simon Sinek look at my site EQ.

00:49:44:16 – 00:50:14:20
Tony Giordano
Simon Sinek is quote, People don’t buy what you do. They buy why you do it. So when you know that and you’re doing video come from here, attract people, show them the passion of what you do for a living, and watch how they will just come running to you, not just you telling your story even more powerful. Ladies and gentlemen, getting your clients to tell your story for you to potential clients.

00:50:15:06 – 00:50:22:05
Tony Giordano
Meaning, when’s the last time any of you shot a video from your phone of your client leaving you a review?

00:50:23:08 – 00:50:23:16
Daniel Ramsey
Right.

00:50:24:15 – 00:50:47:22
Tony Giordano
And then uploaded that video and said, my client just sent me this. This is why I wake up every morning. I love what I do for a living. Livestreaming dominates the newsfeed over anything else, so live streaming gets more engagement when you’re streaming than any other form of self-expression. I’ll get more likes. I’ll get more comments than anything else.

00:50:47:23 – 00:51:06:18
Tony Giordano
Livestreaming is number one that dominates all news feeds in these social networks, meaning if you were all following me, which I said to you, right, Tony underscored Giordano on Instagram, if you are following me and you were in the news feed of Instagram and you saw your friends right here write the stories at the top, and then you see the news feed.

00:51:07:08 – 00:51:30:12
Tony Giordano
What’s in priority? The stories are in priority. They’re at the very top like, hey, somebody just shared a story, Tony, forget about the news feed. Your friends are sharing stories, but look what happens when it’s a livestream. If it’s a livestream, it notifies you and it moves your livestream in front of all the stories because it’s forcing people to want to chime in and say, Oh, Tony’s going live.

00:51:30:24 – 00:51:59:10
Tony Giordano
I’m going to watch it. So I want you to start getting in the habit of trying to go live always. So if your camera’s shot, if you don’t know what to say, here’s the beauty. No one cares. See, no one cares when you go live. If you make a mistake because it’s lives. People love imperfection, right? Because it gives us it connects us with people.

00:52:00:00 – 00:52:21:03
Tony Giordano
Oh, Tony’s not perfect. I always used to watch his videos that were professionally shot or he nailed the script. But how many takes did it take? Tony We don’t get to see that. But do you know how many times I’ve been livestreaming like an open house or walking through a property or just telling people about the areas I sell?

00:52:21:03 – 00:52:51:08
Tony Giordano
Real estate and forget what I was going to say during the livestream. Sure. And people are just laughing. They’re commenting like, Oh, you’re hilarious. Because I’d be like, So this property has an amazing oh my goodness, I forgot the square footage of this listing of mine and my client comments watching the livestream who owns that house and says 5650 square feet, Tony.

00:52:52:01 – 00:53:12:16
Tony Giordano
Oh, my goodness. And my client just told me. That’s right. Sorry, I love you. Yes. Anyways, this house has an amazing 5600 square feet of amazing Santa monica lifestyle, Malibu lifestyle, everything else, like whatever it is. Right. So people aren’t going to get upset when it’s live because it’s real. It’s you. So don’t be camera shy over that.

00:53:12:16 – 00:53:55:15
Tony Giordano
Just wipe your lens. Always get in the habit of wiping your lens on your phone so it’s nice and clear and you don’t have an inch of finger oil and grease on your lens and face the light and start by livestreaming things you love. Because what’s going to happen is you’ll naturally talk well about things you love. So next time you at the soccer game with your kid or just in the backyard with, you know, stay at home orders these days, just in the backyard, instead of taking a photo or taking a video, even of him jumping into the pool live stream it don’t don’t upload the video later actually hit the live button say

00:53:56:00 – 00:54:01:19
Tony Giordano
hey everybody thought I’d share my son’s going live right now he’s going to do a backflip into our pool.

00:54:02:07 – 00:54:02:17
Daniel Ramsey
Right.

00:54:03:05 – 00:54:19:24
Tony Giordano
And you’ll just naturally and it’ll help you get in the habit of doing live streaming. And then before you know it, you’re going to turn that camera around and you’re going to livestream talking into the lens. And then before you know it, you’re going to start livestreaming things about your business and testimonials from clients.

00:54:20:18 – 00:54:21:02
Daniel Ramsey
Right?

00:54:21:24 – 00:54:45:03
Tony Giordano
Live streaming has no duration limit, so you can just live stream forever. Pretty much. Now sharing stories are second, so live streaming is number one in engagement. Now, stories. Stories are those little 15/2 videos that you can shoot on Facebook or Instagram. On Facebook. Those are the squares on the left hand side that you can see in your newsfeed.

00:54:45:03 – 00:55:08:22
Tony Giordano
That’s where you would add a 15/2 story. And then on the right, Instagram, it’s the circles indicate where you can add to your own story and share a 15/2 video. Stories do have a duration limit, which is that 15 seconds and you can upload about four of them in a row totaling 60 seconds. The Power of video on your website.

00:55:10:15 – 00:55:33:09
Tony Giordano
I don’t care what you do for a living. I know you have a website. Are you better? Right. If I go to your website right now, any of you on this call and I click some tabs, will I see that you actually have videos somewhere on your website? You have videos on your social media, but yet you never upload them to your website.

00:55:33:09 – 00:55:56:12
Tony Giordano
Hmm. I hope you do, because what do you think Google puts in front of everything else when it comes to gaining SEO search engine optimization, organic results in Google Search? What do you think Google puts in front of everything video Why does Google put video in front of everything? Because who do they own? YouTube, which is the second largest search engine in the world.

00:55:56:23 – 00:56:24:06
Tony Giordano
So you need to make sure you have a website that does well, that can have video uploaded to it. One of the website companies I use, no matter what industry you’re in, is Mo Pro. Now, there’s website companies that I refer realtors to only, which is called Agent Image, but mo pro agent image is only real estate. Mo Pro builds websites for any industry.

00:56:24:06 – 00:56:53:18
Tony Giordano
If you own a hair salon, if you own a restaurant, if you’re an insurance agent, if you’re a lender. So whenever I’m talking to a wide variety of industries like today, I’m going to tell them mo promo PR oh dot com call them ask for Garrett Hartley. And when Garrett gets on the phone say, I heard Tony Giordano say you were the best website company and they will tell you everything that they miraculously do.

00:56:54:02 – 00:57:29:02
Tony Giordano
By the way, build, design and launch a website for free. If you say my name, no cost hosting. You have to pay every month, obviously. But they will build design and launch the website for your business for no cost. I’m not joking. Micro dot com. That’s cool. YouTube. Do you have a dynamic YouTube channel because we know the power of Google and Google owns YouTube, which means that you have to have videos of everything you do for a living, not just raw video that you’re doing from your phone.

00:57:29:03 – 00:58:00:15
Tony Giordano
Production based video. See, I can go to this house and I can shoot a live stream with my phone and say, Hey, everybody, check out this new listing of ours. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, corona del Mar da da da da da. As you can see, we’re shooting the the lifestyle video today. You see all the equipment. See, it’s okay to livestream and about the professional video I’m shooting, but I can’t just livestream and then send that video to my clients and say, Hey, I told you I’d shoot a video for your house.

00:58:00:15 – 00:58:20:17
Tony Giordano
No, I’m just livestreaming the day of the professional shoot. So there’s a time when we do go raw free video and there’s a time where we still have to hire a crew, we still have to go to a studio. We still have to stand in front of a greenscreen so we can professionally add animations and edit it. There’s a time and a place for every level of video.

00:58:22:03 – 00:58:44:19
Tony Giordano
It’s saving videos so you can launch a YouTube channel. And if you don’t have your own videos right now, if you hit that little plus sign to the left of the word save on YouTube, you can actually add that video to your channel, someone else’s video. And it’s not considered stealing and you can create your own playlists. Why isn’t it considered stealing?

00:58:44:19 – 00:59:06:03
Tony Giordano
Because every video on YouTube shows who uploaded it. So you don’t have to worry about like anything. You’re just helping them promote themselves. So example, if I’m a real estate agent, I have a playlist called Do It Yourself, and I direct people to my YouTube channel who ask me like clients, Hey, Tony, do you have a contractor who can redo garage floors?

00:59:06:03 – 00:59:34:00
Tony Giordano
I was going to try to do it myself, but and I go, Well, before you hire a contractor, go to my YouTube channel, click on the Do It Yourself tab and you’ll see a video on how to redo your garage floors. Watch it and it’s somebody else’s video so you can add videos of other people. And before you know it, you can have a very dynamic YouTube channel and then start getting in the habit of making your own videos, titling them, describing them, adding keywords.

00:59:34:08 – 01:00:07:17
Tony Giordano

Tony Giordano

01:01:55:10 – 01:01:56:08
Tony Giordano

01:01:56:18 – 01:01:59:15
Daniel Ramsey
Isn’t that funny? That’s awesome.

01:02:00:17 – 01:02:08:09
Tony Giordano
Oh, my goodness. I’m getting a bunch of. I can’t scroll down. That’s enough. Hold on.

01:02:08:09 – 01:02:13:20
Daniel Ramsey
I love it. Doc, Doc, put it in the chat now.

01:02:13:22 – 01:02:18:01
Tony Giordano
I said you got to text the phone number, guys. I think Mr. Green.

01:02:18:18 – 01:02:20:15
Daniel Ramsey
I think he was just agreeing. So it’s fine.

01:02:21:05 – 01:02:55:17
Tony Giordano
Okay, here’s the winning phone number. Because you didn’t put your name. That’s fine. I’ll ask you what your name is. So text your name. If this is your phone number, the winner is area code 91391. If that is your phone number, please text that same number, your first and last name and you are the winner of a one year membership to my group coaching program.

01:02:55:17 – 01:03:29:23
Tony Giordano
Congratulations. One more time. 913. If you didn’t win, Dan, the president of my out desk, who I’ve sent plenty of people to, who have provided Vas for businesses that I coach Dan asked me to give everybody on this call. One more giveaway. And what that giveaway is, is, as I told you, the one year membership to my group coaching program is normally 23, 88 a year, 199 a month for everything I showed you.

01:03:30:09 – 01:03:59:10
Tony Giordano
But if you go to this landing page, that is strictly for my desk. W WW dot m0d dot rise group coaching dot com and it dan you could put that in the chat W WW dot mod rise group coaching dot com. If you go to that landing page for just a few days, this landing page is going to be instead of 23, 88.

01:03:59:10 – 01:04:13:08
Tony Giordano
Anybody who signs up it will only be 999 a year over 50% off just for my desk people on this call, which is only about $83 a month to actually have what somebody just won.

01:04:13:20 – 01:04:18:04
Daniel Ramsey
So what is it again? What is it again, Tony? So I make sure we got it.

01:04:19:16 – 01:04:44:07
Tony Giordano
W w dot mody dot rise group coaching dot com is a special landing page where you can sign up the my program for less than 50% meaning over 50% off for for just a few days we’re giving a special discount to everybody who was on this call. There it is right there. Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you enjoyed today.

01:04:45:00 – 01:05:03:12
Tony Giordano
Obviously, you know, there’s only so much we can go over in 60 minutes. But if everybody still wants to ask questions, I know where we’re going over the 60 minute mark, but ask away if you want to stay on or if, Dan, you’ve to go. I understand. But let’s get to some questions and and see if I can help anybody in more.

01:05:03:24 – 01:05:22:05
Daniel Ramsey
Well, I got to I got a good question, because I think Bill’s question early on was really great. I also kind of I’m curious about this while I get video is a is a big thing and we’re watching it a lot of people are putting subtitles in their video and are just watching the video but not clicking on it.

01:05:22:17 – 01:05:33:05
Daniel Ramsey
So they can’t hear but they read. So is that a better? Is do you how often do you want to employ that strategy? Should should you do it on every video? What’s your thoughts?

01:05:33:18 – 01:05:59:18
Tony Giordano
Here’s the thing and great question. As you know, a lot of the social networks are adding closed captioning where you don’t have to pay somebody to add the text. You can actually enable that settings so that somebody who actually has it, it’ll it’ll actually show it who can’t hear. But it is very important to do if you have a videographer just add the text.

01:05:59:18 – 01:06:24:06
Tony Giordano
It’s not that difficult if you’re educational. So if you’re trying to motivate, inspire or educate somebody on what you do for a living, it’s important to have the text. There’s nothing wrong with that. I just I have the enabled closed captioning, so that if they have it set up on their Facebook, I don’t have to add it. However, I’m not going to add it when I’m livestreaming.

01:06:24:16 – 01:06:43:02
Tony Giordano
So there’s a time and a place to do that. But yes, it’s it’s just that much more helpful. Just don’t make the text too large. If you have a video person who’s adding it. I’ve seen people where the text is just too big and it’s taking away half the screen. And so just make it small because people will still be able to read it.

01:06:43:12 – 01:07:06:09
Daniel Ramsey
All right. This is a curveball question, but I want you to rattle off and I know you can. So that’s why I’m asking this question. I want you to rattle off what your ideal week with video where and what would you would you do like and this is for, you know, somebody asked how often would you post video?

01:07:06:18 – 01:07:15:12
Daniel Ramsey
But I’d love to just hear Here’s your ideal week of video production posting.

01:07:15:12 – 01:07:37:13
Tony Giordano
How often do you self express? That’s how often you shoot video, which means that all of you this morning guaranteed if you told me how your day started from the moment you woke up, you went to the gym, you ate breakfast, you went and got coffee, you took your kids somewhere, you dropped them back off, you got to the office, wherever.

01:07:37:24 – 01:07:56:07
Tony Giordano
I would probably show you at least any of you on this call. Five different things you could have livestreamed or done. A quick little 15/2 story or whatever it might have been, you’d be surprised. So what you have to understand is I don’t want you thinking, how many times should I do it? Tony said, Do it this many times.

01:07:56:15 – 01:08:22:19
Tony Giordano
I want you speaking every moment of the day, every moment of the day. Is this something that I could shoot a video for God? Upload. That’s all you have to ask yourself. So if I’m sitting with a client and I’m getting ready to list their house, is this something I could shoot a video for? No. But if they do agree to sign with me, I’m going to shoot a video when I’m walking out the front door and I’m going to say, Hey, everybody.

01:08:22:19 – 01:08:31:05
Tony Giordano
So I just was in that house. It’s a new listing of my coming up. Look for details soon. They just signed the listing agreement. We’re going to be getting all the marketing ready to go.

01:08:32:03 – 01:08:35:22
Daniel Ramsey
And, you know, walk away with the house in the background so people are going to or.

01:08:36:04 – 01:09:09:22
Tony Giordano
Whatever. But you’re going to get in the habit of doing this better. If you start with things you love to talk about, just remember that. Now, tip number one when live streaming. Tip number one, you wiped your lens on whatever device you’re using. Wipe that lens off. Tip number two, make sure light is facing you. Yep. Always. Tip number three is it’s better if you’re livestreaming and somebody’s holding your phone for you.

01:09:09:22 – 01:09:34:02
Tony Giordano
Meaning I can just do this right and talk and live stream. If you can’t have somebody hold it for you, then you’re using a selfie. Stick with a button to start recording so that you’re not so up close. And if you can’t do a selfie stick for that livestream, then just as far away as you can hold your arm out.

01:09:34:14 – 01:09:53:18
Tony Giordano
But always it’s best if you can to try to have somebody else hold it. When you start to do a livestream just so you don’t have to, you can look better or show yourself, you know, depending on what you do for a living. So those will help you when you start to getting in the habit. And that’s also sharing stories and stuff like that.

01:09:54:09 – 01:09:59:15
Daniel Ramsey
Yep. Great guest lighting brand. The ring light brand. What brand. Do you use or suggest?

01:09:59:15 – 01:10:31:17
Tony Giordano
So if you remember that Amazon screenshot, it is newer with two e’s in e w e r. So just go on Amazon and put any w e r ring light stand and it’ll be about 120 bucks. It comes with the orange ring as well. So for the that’s the late afternoon, you know, where your skin’s all glowing orange and the sun’s going down.

01:10:31:23 – 01:10:53:24
Tony Giordano
And it also has this bright fluorescent one that’s been in my face the entire time. Talking to all of you today. But ring lights are it’s just amazing. It comes with a remote. So you put your phone on there and then you can click the remote. It’s just there. So convenient now there are these that I’m glad we went over this, but there are these ones that I also have.

01:10:54:06 – 01:11:21:10
Tony Giordano
I always have to buy a new one. They’re like 20 bucks. And these actually go on your phone so that I actually I can do a ring and if I don’t have my stand with me, would these is you have to be like right here in order for the effect of light in your eyes like celebrities. That’s where ring lights came from, is acting and stuff where it makes that ring in your light and it’s all bright in your face.

01:11:21:24 – 01:11:32:07
Tony Giordano
So these are just emergency 20 bucks you’ll will see mobile. What you do is say smart phone ring light and you’ll see these little mobile ones. You can buy it for 20 bucks.

01:11:32:20 – 01:11:46:20
Daniel Ramsey
Okay, so we have the landing page where people can, you know, sign up for your coaching half off. But if somebody wants to just follow you, what’s the best place? Maybe even get a hold of you? Where would you send somebody right now to click?

01:11:46:20 – 01:12:34:10
Tony Giordano
And so the person who won was I hope I got that right. All right. As I said, you can follow Instagram. Tony underscored Donna, you can follow my friend page on Facebook. You can connect with me on LinkedIn. The best place to get every thing you need from me for who I am is giordano dot global so w WW dot Giordano dot global if you can put that in the chart for me yeah not dot com dot global so Giordano dot global at its own dot I guess and and then from there you can find everything of mine.

01:12:34:11 – 01:12:40:13
Tony Giordano
You can get to my real estate brand. You can get to my coaching website, all that good stuff.

01:12:41:04 – 01:12:53:06
Daniel Ramsey
So good. We’re going to end now because we’re 15 minutes over. I really appreciate everybody hanging in there. Tony, any last thoughts about working with my out desk? I know this has been a video mastery, but you’ve been a client for a long, long time.

01:12:53:06 – 01:13:17:16
Tony Giordano
So I would yes, I definitely want to say this because I forgot to. In all honesty, is I do have to do a lot of my own video. I do have to teach video. I teach social media marketing. I have used every VR company you could think of in the last ten years. I’ve used I’ve used the Elance, the fibers, the Upwork.

01:13:18:03 – 01:13:44:08
Tony Giordano
You name them, I’ve done them virtual assistant when I came across my desk. Dan, I have to be honest with you that the people you’ve built overseas, your Vas know so much more than most VA companies. So the Vas that I have with my desk, they know social media marketing, they know video marketing, they know how to upload.

01:13:44:08 – 01:14:18:18
Tony Giordano
I have coaching clients who I coached who have a VA with my app desk and that VA I coach on the calls. Right. And that VA knows extraordinary technology. So Eventually, we all need leverage. No one succeeds alone. Right? So as you’re growing your business, a great way to have some level of leverage with this world technology is hire a VA that can do a lot of the tech for you remotely for a much lesser cost, lesser responsibility, lesser liability.

01:14:19:10 – 01:14:40:08
Tony Giordano
And you’re just texting them. You’re just you’re you’re sending them Dropbox files of videos and saying upload this to you to upload Instagram and they’re already educated on how to do it. They just have access to all your channels. But I have to say, I, I couldn’t imagine my businesses without desk. And I have my people here in L.A. who are staff.

01:14:40:20 – 01:15:06:16
Tony Giordano
Yep. But then we have VA’s with you. And that I can’t imagine not having them. And a big shout out to one of our amazing Vas is Joy C, who is my executive operations manager. Over all of this side of my world and Ashley, my VP here in L.A., Ashley and I absolutely love Jason. So yeah, big shout out to you.

01:15:06:16 – 01:15:17:22
Daniel Ramsey
But all right, man. Well, hey, thanks so much. Video mastery, Tony, we’ve got I mean, this has been a great time. Really appreciate you today and giving back, sharing your story. It’s been it’s been awesome.

01:15:18:07 – 01:15:21:01
Tony Giordano
Awesome. Well, thank you for having me. I look forward to part two.

01:15:22:00 – 01:15:22:14
Daniel Ramsey
All right, brother.

01:15:22:14 – 01:15:25:06
Tony Giordano
Thanks. Alright, talk to you all soon.
