About the New Riverfront Headquarters

Yesterday, we proudly, and formally, opened the doors to MyOutDesk’s new global headquarters on the Sacramento River. It marked another milestone in our nearly two decades of helping businesses scale with world-class virtual professionals. The support of our clients and community has been instrumental in our growth, and we’re excited to celebrate this next chapter with you.

MyOutDesk was founded in 2008 by Sacramento entrepreneur Daniel Ramsey, whose vision was to help leaders reclaim their time and grow through high-caliber remote talent. Since then, the company has supported thousands of clients across industries with proven virtual staffing solutions, earning recognition for growth and impact.

Daniel’s story is rooted in Sacramento’s business community. He launched MyOutDesk to solve the very operational bottlenecks he faced as a founder, and he continues to share insights on scaling, leadership, and the future of work through interviews and contributions to national outlets.

Why Sacramento: Roots, Growth, and Community

Our new headquarters at 1661 Garden Highway reflects that mission. Designed for collaboration with partners, clients, and the community, our new headquarters will host events, trainings, and conversations about building resilient, blended teams. Yesterday’s ribbon-cutting recognizes MyOutDesk’s Sacramento roots and the city’s vibrant entrepreneurial

ecosystem.

“This city has given us talent, community, and opportunity, and this new headquarters is our way of reinvesting right back into Sacramento.” – Daniel Ramsey, founder and CEO of MyOutDesk

A modern meeting room named KADO ROOM at the MyOutDesk Sacramento headquarters grand opening features wooden ceiling beams, chairs, framed photos on the walls, a model building on a central table, and large windows letting in natural light.

We’re especially honored to celebrate in a space with deep architectural roots. Our new headquarters once housed the offices of E.M. Kado Associates, giving famed Sacramento architect Ed Kado Jr. a riverfront vantage point he often drew from in his designs, bringing natural light, water, and landscape into built environments. Kado’s imprint on the region is unmistakable, from The Ziggurat on the West Sacramento riverfront to prominent downtown projects like 500 Capitol Mall; landmarks that helped define Sacramento’s modern skyline and civic identity.

“It’s especially meaningful for us at MyOutDesk to carry forward that legacy by making this building our new home.” – Mark Smith, COO of MyOutDesk

Join the Celebration, Remotely

A group of people stand under a canopy at the MyOutDesk Sacramento headquarters grand opening ribbon-cutting event. Orange and white balloons decorate the area. A smartphone on a tripod records the ceremony, while white chairs await attendees.

If you attended, we thank you for joining us on such a special occasion, and we hope you enjoyed the tours, music, and the first look at our riverfront office. If you didn’t make it in person, we hope you caught our livestream and were able to join the festivities remotely. Just like the many talented team members who power client success from around the world.
